Always a work in progress. This is where I’m pulling together the bits of bungaroush I’ve left scattered around during the past 25 years and more of my online life. Writing, links, reading, as well as media alongside the occasional aide-mémoire and hat-tip. Digital beachcombing.

Partly it’s nostalgia. That old, turn-of-the-millennium idea of having your own small corner of the web and just… putting things there. I pulled together my first website in 1999, blogged to some acclaim in the early naughties (Who remembers the Randomaniac? Whotbe?)

I’m also using it as a place to tinker. WordPress, layout, structure, and a bit of AI to help me understand what’s possible. The technical side of blogging used to be beyond me (most of my early blogging couldn’t have been done without my ‘Blogmum’ the late Sue Bailey, who was a WordPress wizard.) Now it’s still a bit hard but not impenetrable. I still miss Typepad..
